Smile that it happened.

If you’re anything like me, you tend to get comfortable with your social environment, and when that changes, you’re affected negatively that it’s changed.

This post in particular deals with social relationships with either a specific person, or a group of people. We tend to find comfort in our social relationships. Once that changes, we tend to get upset or even depressed. It affects our mood, behaviour and attitude.

I’ve learnt this, or I’m beginning to learn that sometimes, moving on is not only the best option to do, it’s the only option. You might hate it but that’s how it works.

Whether professionally or personally, when situations change, we’re all emotionally affected; and that’s okay. It’s okay to be affected by something you’re not used to and to be emotional about it. However the key here is to push through and accept that your life is going to be a little more different. Don’t get caught up in that dogma of emotion, it’s a negative spiral of emotions which will keep occurring.

Just smile that it happened and keep the memories, and then move onward and outward, because if you don’t you might miss life’s few and fleeting opportunities that get thrown at you.
